Barbara Lois Hull, 79, of South Whitley, formerly of Oak Lawn, Illinois, died peacefully at her home at 6:10 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023.

Born on October 3, 1943, in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Genua) Stockstill. Growing up in Chicago, she graduated from Revis High School in Burbank, IL, in 1961.

She married Jeffrey A. Hull in Chicago on July 9, 1966. They made their home in Oak Lawn, IL. Jeff died in 2011. In 2017, she moved to Columbia City and lived with her sister, Linda Brown, and in 2021 they moved to South Whitley.

While living in Chicago, Barbara worked in a local cemetery's office.

She loved her Scottish terriers, who accompanied her to most places. She liked the card game canasta, and a weekly trip to the hairdresser was a must. She often joined her friends for a weekly luncheon.

Surviving are her two nephews, Clinton Brown III of Meza, AZ, and John C. (Christina) Brown of South Whitley.

Per Barbara's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
