Obituary

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Betty J. Kreider on April 5, 2025, at the age of 85.
Betty was a member of the Blue River Covenant Church.

She was born in Bismarck, WV, and graduated from Bayard High School. She left home to work for the International Bureau of Affairs in Washington, DC, and met Lynn at Washington City Church of the Brethren. Lynn and Betty were married at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren in WV.  Betty was a member of the Blue River Covenant Church, where she served alongside her husband.  She spent time from 1976 to the present at Camp Alexander Mack in programming and facility maintenance.  In recent years, she supported Noble House Ministries for women and children.  Betty passed along talents handed down over generations and provided care for her family members over the years.  We will miss her dearly and give God the glory.

Betty is survived by her husband R. Lynn of Milford, daughter Laura (Thad) Stern of Goshen and son Brian (Angie) Kreider of Fishers.  Siblings Dwight (Sharon) Kitzmiller of Mount Jackson, VA and Edwin (Nancy) Kitzmiller of Waller, TX.  Grandchildren Andrew (Elizabeth) Stern of Mouth of Wilson, VA, Katherine (Sean) Coleman of Lebanon Junction, KY and great grandchildren Nolan, Emma and John.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents Leon D. and Cynthia Kitzmiller and siblings Leon D.  Kitzmiller, Jr,  Anna Lee Kitzmiller, Esther Kitzmiller and Keith Kitzmiller.
