Brenda Sue Woznick, 60, of rural Columbia City, died peacefully at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her home.

Born on December 10, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Angus "Bud" and Karen (McNab) Giant. Growing up in the Fort Wayne area, she attended Homestead High School and later earned a GED.

On June 7, 1998, she married the love of her life, Steven J. Woznick. Embarking on a 24-year journey, they made their first home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Through the years, they enjoyed love and laughter, friends and family, horse races, travel, or just quiet time at home with the fragrance of essential oils. In April 2020, they moved to rural Columbia City.

Self-employed, she owned and operated a house cleaning service in Arkansas, then became her father's caretaker. Influenced by her mother's love of plants and flowers, her father's dedication to agriculture, and her aunt Helene's noodles and banana bread, Brenda acquired a farm-to-table philosophy. For the last seven years, she has been the Market Master at South Side Farmers Market, Fort Wayne. Practicing her passion for sustainable horticulture, she maintained a large vegetable garden at home, selling her produce at the farmers market she championed.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; brothers, Greg Giant of Fort Wayne and Michael Giant of Big Lake, Columbia City.

She was preceded in death by her mother Karen Giant and brother Jeffrey Giant.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
