Charles Steven Twigg, 71 , of South Whitley, passed away 6:10 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 8, 1950 in Portland, Indiana, a son of the late Charles E. and Melba (Nicols) Twigg.

He graduated from Jay County High School in 1968.

On September 3, 1971, he married Linda Taylor at Hickory Grove church.  They were happily married and spent most of their days in Whitley County, Indiana.

Charles retired from Kroger in 2015, after 33 years of service.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, computer games, travel, entertaining his grandchildren and visiting with extended Amish family of South Whitley and Grabill.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda; three sons, Kyle (Bobbie) Twigg of North Manchester; Kory (Chrystie) Twigg of Burnsville, MN and Cody (Megan) Twigg of South Whitley; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, AJ, Alice, Rachael, Zachary, Jacob and Bobby; two sisters, Cheryl Morehous of Portland and Nancy Case of Scottsburg.

He was preceded in death by sister, Diana Pratt.

A visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
