COLUMBIA CITY: Cheryl Darlene Corner, 72, of Columbia City, died at 1:30 am. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Majestic Care of West Allen.

Born March 25, 1949 in Whitley County, IN. She was a daughter of Ralph and Mary (Sheets) Corner. She graduated from South Whitley High School. She worked at Star Light from 1969 to 1990, Pizza King in North Webster from 2011 to 2012 and Pizza King in Silver Lake from 2012-2013. Cheryl is a former member of the Eagles in Columbia City.

Surviving is her mother, Mary Corner; daughter, Tracy Corner of Columbia City; son, Jason Corner of Columbia City; sister, Katherine Hamuel of Linton, IN and brother, Ralph Corner Jr. of Columbia City.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Corner Sr. and sister, Joyce Trish.

The funeral service is 3:00 pm Friday, November 19, 2021 at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow the service to South Park Cemetery.
