Chris Michael DeLong , 63, died at his home at 11:03 am on September16, 2023.

Born on July 3, 1960 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Gregory A. and Janice E. (Dedman) DeLong.

He spent his formative years in the Fort Wayne area completing Harrison Hill Elementary School and then graduating from South Side High School.

Until his disability, Chris was a chef at Halls restaurant for over ten years.

Surviving are his brothers, Kurt (Kimberly) DeLong of Westfield and Timothy (Melinda) DeLong of Carmen.

As per Chris's wishes, there will be no services.
