Christine Elizabeth Rawleigh , 55, of rural Columbia City, died unexpectedly at 3:46 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Parkview Whitley Hospital, where she was admitted on Sunday.

Born in Columbia City, Indiana, on September 30, 1969, she was the daughter of John A. and Billie Jean (Butler) Stephens.  Growing up in Churubusco, she graduated from Churubusco High School in 1988.

On November 27, 1993, she married Sean Russel Rawleigh.  They have always made their home in rural Columbia City, where they have raised their three daughters.

A homemaker raising their daughters, Christine worked side by side with her husband at their business, Rawleigh Automotive and Performance in Columbia City.

A talented crafter, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.  More recently, she liked making vinyl monogram tee shirts in various designs. Living in an older country home, she liked antiques. The more primitive, the better.  She found solace being outside, whether working on her landscaping or relaxing in the sun.

Christine has been a strong Christian her entire life, and enjoyed sharing her faith with others through acts of kindness and spending every Sunday with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Sean; daughters, Victoria E. Rawleigh, Alexandria S. Rawleigh, and Kassandra N. Rawleigh all of Columbia City; her mother, Billie Jean McGuire of Churubusco; and siblings, Sheila J. (Mack Pratt) of Pierceton, and Rob Stephens of Churubusco.

She was preceded in death by her father, John A. Stephens.

A Celebration of Christine's life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 6:00 pm at 6875 E Chapine Rd, Columbia City.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Christine's honor are to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
