Clinton Henry Ade, 64, of Fort Wayne, died peacefully at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Chateau Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Fort Wayne.

Born on September 30, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was a son of the late Henry Ellis and Shirley A. (Korty) Ade. Growing up in Fort Wayne, he graduated from South Side High School in 1976.

A printer for many years, he then became a self-employed carpenter specializing in home improvements. A talented and accomplished drummer, he spent some time in Nashville, TN pursuing country music.

Surviving are his three children, Amy N. (David) Bickford of Gainesville, FL, Josh C.H. (Megan) Ade of Fort Wayne, and Cory P. (Nikki) Ade of Auburn; grandchildren, Jordan (Jasmine) Ade, Emily Ade, Julia Ade, Grace Ade, Abby Bickford, and Emma Bickford; brothers Steve Ade of Lake Havasu, AZ, and Ira (Jolene) Robinson of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Theresa (James) Steup of Fort Wayne and Brandy Pennington of Tennessee.

There will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
