Darlene Kay Boggs, 74, of Columbia City died peacefully at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at The Waters, Columbia City.
Born on April 29, 1949, in Celina, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Gene and Bessie Jean (Longsworth) Gallimore. Growing up in Noble County, Indiana she attended Central Noble High School.
Living most of her adult life in Columbia city, she raised three sons.
She enjoyed playing BINGO at the local VFW Post 5582 and the former Eagles Club. Occasionally, she would venture to Fort Wayne to play BINGO. Trips to see family in Oklahoma was always a joy as well as spending the holidays with family.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Clifford of Albion, and Timothy (Amy) Arnold of Stillwater, OK; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine (Dale) Grace of South Bend and Sue (Rodney) Clark of South Bend; and a brother, Ray Grace of Churubusco
She was preceded in death by a son, Chad Clifford and a sister, Cindy Moore.
The family will receive friends and relative from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
