David L. Rathbun , 66, of Loon Lake, passed away at his home on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Born on June 3, 1958, he was adopted by the late Harold L. and Barbara Jane Rathburn.  Growing up in Whitley County, he graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1976.

He worked for a tool and die shop in the Avilla area before becoming disabled.

He is survived by a cousins, Kim Engle of Columbia City and Lee Ann Confer, and an aunt, Nancy Deutch, both of Asheboro, NC.

There will be no services.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
