Dolores I. Keppler, 61, of Columbia City, died unexpectedly at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, where she was admitted on Wednesday.

She was born on March 25, 1961, in Binghamton, N.Y., a daughter of Walter and Betty (Ingraham) Copp. Her formative years were spent in Binghamton, NY. The family then moved to the South Whitley area, where she graduated from Whitko High School.

For the past 20 years, she has made her home in Columbia City.

An avid bowler, she participated in the Monday and Thursday bowling leagues at the Main Bowl, Columbia City. She was a former member of the Eagles Club.

Surviving is her boyfriend of over 20 years, Jeremy White of Columbia City; her mother, Betty Gillett of Fort Wayne; a step-brother, Bruce (Kyle) Gillett of Apopka, FL;  and her aunt, Betty Sperry of South Whitley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Copp; step-father, George Gillett; and a brother, Walter D. Copp.

Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23rd, at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
