Glenda Sue McClellan, 59, of Columbia City, died peacefully at 5:25 p.m. Monday May 1, 2023, at her home.

Born on January 26, 1964, in Columbia City, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Glen H. and Lula B. (Norton) Wooten.  She attended Marshall Memorial School in Columbia City and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1982.

On May 3, 1996 she was united in marriage to Michael P. McClellan.  They made their home in Laotto and Columbia City.  Michael died July 27, 2010.

From 2008 until 2013, she was a baker at Dunkin Donuts in Columbia City. Before her disability she worked at Hardee's in Fort Wayne as an Assistant Manager.

In 2010 she met her long-time partner Timothy Harmeyer, they have always made their home in Columbia City.

Glenda really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving is her partner, Timothy, her children, Crystal Sue Chaney of Fort Wayne, Amber Marie (James) Hershberger of Columbia City, William Glen Wicker of Grabill, Hope Lynae Hogle of Columbia City; sister, Norma Jo (John) Leslie of Paw Paw, Michigan; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Brown.

The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Pleasant Chapel Cemetery in Roanoke.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
