Judith Ann Hall , 64, of Columbia City, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mason Healthcare Center in Warsaw.

She was born on April 6, 1960, in Gary, Indiana, and was the adopted daughter of the late Harry E. and Agnes (Freund) Hall.  Growing up in Gary, she graduated from Calumet High School in Griffith in 1979.

Never married, she lived at Irish Lake until moving to South Whitley.  She then lived in Huntington until moving to Columbia City in 2013.

She had worked for the former Big Wheel in Warsaw and Syracuse for eight years.  Then, she went to work for Kroger in Warsaw and Columbia City with 18 years of service.  She completed her work career at Walmart in Huntington with nine years of service.

Raised in the Catholic Church, she later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Always generous, she would help others however possible.  She loved being with friends and family.  She liked traditional pop music, especially by the artist Engelbert Humperdinck, and would attend his concerts whenever possible.

She is survived by her friend and caretaker, Sharon (Phillip) Byrer of Atwood.

Judy desired to have no services.  Her cremains will be returned to her hometown of Gary for interment.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

Memorials in Judy's honor are to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
