Linda Ilene Twigg , 72, of South Whitley, passed away at home at 4:47 p.m. on December 21, 2025. Linda was born to Delbert and Bessie (Butcher) Taylor in Portland, Indiana on March 7, 1953, and graduated from Jay County High School in 1971.

Linda married Charlie Twigg on September 3, 1971, and together they raised three sons and celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2021. She retired from Dana Corporation in 2018 after 35 years of service. Linda also graduated as valedictorian of her class from St. Francis College Nursing School in 1994, and worked part time as a nurse for the Whitley County Jail. After her retirement, Linda enjoyed spending her days driving for her Amish friends and neighbors near her home in South Whitley.

Linda is survived by her three sons, Kyle (Bobbie) Twigg of South Whitley, Kory (Chrystie) Twigg of Burnsville, Minnesota, and Cody (Megan) Twigg of South Whitley, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her sister, Nila Stauffer of Pennville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, in 2021, and her parents, Delbert and Bessie Tayor.

A visitation will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley, with a reception to follow from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 4625 W 300S, Columbia City.
