LulaBelle Ann Little, 82, of Columbia City, died at 9:10 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She was born on August 12, 1941, in Columbia City, Indiana, a daughter of the late Guy W. and Margretta "Elizabeth" (Loe) Smith.  She grew up in Columbia City and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1959.  She then attended Warner Beauty College for about a year.

On December 15, 1962, she was united in marriage to James E. Little.  They have always made their home in Columbia City.

LulaBelle started her work career in 1960 at Weatherhead until 1966.  She then took time to raise her family and returned to the workplace at Alcoils as a factory employee until 2003.

She enjoyed reading, camping and being a member of the YMCA.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Jim; daughter, Kathrine Rene (Gregg) Bollinger of Columbia City; son, Kirk Edward (Candy) Little of Knapp Lake; step-daughter, Corinna Marie Amable of Santa Clarita, CA; six grandchildren, Travis (Kara) Preston, Cody Preston, Elizabeth (Logan) Andryk, Christopher Bollinger, Jessica (Jered) Brinkman and Jon (Kirsten) Rushing; six great grandchildren, Braylon Preston, Kailyn Preston, Ava Moore, Jackson Brinkman, Josie Rushing and Avery Rushing; brothers, Jay Smith of Lagrange and Tex Smith of Florida.

Additionally, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dick Smith & Rex Loe.

As per LulaBelle's wishes, there will be no services.

Memorials in LulaBelle's honor are to the Whitley County Senior Citizens Center.
