Obituary

Lynn E. Feller, 84, of Huntington, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation.

Born on April 26, 1941, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was a son of the late Edward Charles and Kathryn Alma (Burkas) Feller.  Growing up in Whitley County, he attended Coesse Elementary school.  He then attended Columbia City Joint High School and graduated in 1959.

On July 16, 1960, he was united in marriage to Dortha E. Schrader.  They made their home first in the Whitley County area, then moved to North Webster and Fort Wayne, later moving to Illinois for 35 years, returning to Huntington in 2022.

Lynn was an insurance agent and owned an insurance agency in North Webster for many years.  He then went on to over the road trucking with Werner Trucking along with his wife, Dottie and they were a team for over 20 years.

Lynn enjoyed golfing, watching movies, when he was younger, he went every week.  He also liked bowling and was in a league.  He also enjoyed watching NBA basketball.

He was a member of F & A.M. in North Webster, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite in Fort Wayne, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Surviving is his loving wife of 65 years, Dottie; son, Rod (Tina) Feller of Huntington; and Douglas Feller of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Taylor (Josh) Reeder and Jamie (Joe) Bentz; great grandchildren, Mitchell Reeder, Casen Reeder, Weston Reeder and Millie Reeder.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday November 24th at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
