Margaret A. Graham, 96, of South Whitley, died on Thursday at 5:50 p.m. March 23, 2023 at Peabody Memorial Home in North Manchester.

Born to the late Henry G. and Gladys S. (Cunningham) Badger in Milan, Indiana, on March 9, 1927.  She attended Western High School in Washington D.C. and then attended Indiana University in Bloomington and obtained a Bachelor's degree in French.  She then attended Ball State University.

Margaret worked as a teacher and translator at Indiana and Michigan schools.  She also taught music and high school French.  She was also a translator for Lincoln Life for nearly two years.

On August 29, 1953 she was united in marriage to DeVon H. Graham.  They made their home in South Whitley.  DeVon died April 12, 2003.

She was a past member of South Whitley Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, David (Bev) Graham of Los Osos, CA, Carol (David) Goller of Beaver Lake, NE and Ann Price of South Bend; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Glenn Badger; and a sister, Leonila Badger.

The graveside service is Thursday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery, West 4 ^th Street, Bloomington, Indiana.

Memorials in Margaret's honor are to South Whitley Community Public Library.
