On November 1, 1969, she married James L. Crouch.  They have always made their home in South Whitley raising a daughter.  Jim died on June 24, 2008.

Enjoying the outdoors, Patty could often be found tending her flowers, working in the yard, or mowing the grass.  She liked to feed and watch the birds.  Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she annually decked out the property and house with lights and ornaments.  She is remembered for her delicious pea salad.  When her great-granddaughter came along, she became her pride and joy, keeping a pillow with her great-granddaughter's photo by her side.

Surviving is her daughter, Christine Crouch of South Whitley; grandchildren, Kayla (Jonathan) Brewer, Amber Franklin, and Nichole Crouch, all of South Whitley; a great-granddaughter, Raelynn Brewer of South Whitley; a sister, Beth Ann Sickafoose of South Whitley and brothers, Randall (Candy) Myers of Albion and Steve (Vicky) Myers of Columbia City.

Additionally, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Steve Sickafoose.
