Rebecca "Becky" Lemon, 80, beloved sister and aunt, passed away while surrounded by her family on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Born January 18, 1944, at Luckey Hospital in Wolf Lake, a daughter of Cloe and Mabel (Orcutt) Lemon, she graduated from Wolf Lake High School in 1962 and continued her education at Fort Wayne Bible College. After 44 years of service, she retired from Silgan Plastics in Ligonier.

A deeply spiritual person, she regularly read and studied the Bible throughout her life. She was also a skilled photographer, talented writer, and avid reader. She had a deep appreciation of the beauty of nature and a connection to animals. She delighted in spending time with her family and friends, especially playing games and working puzzles. Her family remembers her as a loving and generous soul, always bringing joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Philip Lemon (and wife Bonita); and niece Diane (Lemon) Bratton. She is survived by her brother Roger (Toni) Lemon; her sister Linda Lemon; her nephews Dave (Faith) Lemon, Brian Lemon, and Glen (Loreen) Lemon; her nieces Kristy (Hershell) Dean and Rachel Campbell; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service is at noon on Friday (June 21st) at the Wolf Lake Baptist Church, 1133 Main St, Wolf Lake.  Burial is at the Thorn Cemetery in Noble County.  Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the church.
