Ricky L. Reimer, 65, of rural Huntington, died peacefully in the company of family at 8:06 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.

Born on January 10, 1958, in Huntington, Indiana, he was the son of Franklin E. and Mary A. (Grace) Reimer.  He lived with his parents in Bippus.

A fan of old vehicles, he liked to attend area car shows with his family where he could see the classic vehicles of the past.  Enjoying the simple things in life, he watched old westerns and old classic movies.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Reimer; a sister, Patricia Fawcett of South Whitley; and nephews, Eric (Kelly) Fawcett of Huntington and Brian (Amber) Fawcett of Larwill.  He also leaves behind several great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank and his brother-in-law Alan Fawcett.

Ricky's life will be celebrated privately by his family, and he will be interred in the South Whitley Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Homes, Columbia City and South Whitley.

Memorials in Ricky's honor are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
