Obituary

Ronnie C. Taylor, 85, formerly of Larwill, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024, at Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, where she had been a resident since 2020.

She was born on April 12, 1939, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Ellis and Anna (Glauner) Cunningham.  Growing up in West Chester, she graduated from West Chester High School in 1957.

On June 29, 1957, she married William B. Taylor, Jr.  They made their home in Coatesville, PA, for over 45 years until their retirement when they moved to the Larwill area.  William died on February 17, 2015

Ronnie worked with various companies in Pennsylvania through the years as a secretary and bookkeeper.

She and her husband enjoyed RV camping visiting National Parks and state parks.  She enjoyed crocheting and reading, especially romance novels and autobiographies.  In her younger years, she liked to bowl, participated in the local women's leagues and playing the accordion. As a member of a large family, family gatherings were a priority whenever possible.

Surviving are her children, William Taylor and Tiffany Taylor both of Pottstown, PA; siblings, John (Janice) Cunningham of Idaho, Joan (James) Aberts of Manheim, PA, Glenn (Susan) Cunningham of Mechanicsburg, PA, Patti-Jo (James) Ketterman of Wellsville, PA, Lorna (Edward) Dzialo of Chatham, MA, Lynne (Thomas) Tatum of Merced, CA and numerous nieces and nephews (all adorable and above average).

Additionally, she was preceded in death by parents and beloved sisters, Eleanor Pavlik and Faye Webb.

A graveside memorial service will be scheduled for the spring of 2025 at the Scott–Keister Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
