Rosie Ziko, 68, of Fort Wayne, died peacefully in the company of family at 11:22 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at her home.

Born on February 1, 1954, in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late George and Babs (Ely) Nicklos.  She grew up in Chicago.

On March 1, 1971, she married Frank Ziko.  For the past 30 years, the couple have made their home in Fort Wayne.

Surviving is her loving husband of 51 years, Frank; and sons, Larry (Lisa) Ziko, Mike (Cherry) Ziko and Blancie (Nancy) Ziko all of Fort Wayne.

The funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.  Burial is at the Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.  Visitation is from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
