Sharon Ann Brommer , 86, died at 6:58 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, as a resident of Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw.

She was born on March 12, 1938 in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Eugene J. Brommer and Mabel M. (Wyss) Brommer.  Sharon graduated from Central Catholic High School, Fort Wayne, in 1956 and Saint Francis College in 1960, with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She obtained her Master of Science in Education in 1964.

Sharon taught for 39 years in the Fort Wayne Community Schools, including teaching 1st grade at Southern Heights Elementary.

Active in 4H, Sharon acquired many blue and gold ribbons in the adult open show for herbs, crafts, and weaving.

She is survived by her sister, Linda L. (Bustamante) Walko of Clifton Park, New York.

A Mass of Christian Burial with Father Dale Bauman, the officiant, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday (July 9th) at St. Catherine of Alexandria's Catholic Church, 9989 South State Road 9, Columbia City.  Burial is at St Catherine's cemetery.  Visitation is 1 hour prior to the Mass at the church.

Memorials in Sharon's honor are to the donor's choice.
