Shawn A. Sheckler, 51, of Columbia City, passed away at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home.

Shawn was born on February 11, 1974 in Columbia City, Indiana.  He was a son of James A. and Maria C. (Phillipson) Sheckler. Always making his home in Columbia City, he attended Columbia City Joint High School, and later obtained his G.E.D.

He started working in 2015 at Larwill Gas Station as a cashier and manager until the present time.

Shawn enjoyed fishing, hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.  Shawn had the biggest heart and sense of humor that always made people laugh. His siblingship was so strong and cherished.

He is survived by his parents, a sister, Amber (Curtis) Stucker of Columbia City; niece, Kaiyan Perry; nephews, Sirian W. Stucker and Rhyatt J. Stucker; and niece Sassie M. Stucker all of Columbia City.

As per Shawn's wishes there will be no services.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
