Obituary

Timothy Jetmore, 66, of Columbia City, died unexpectedly at his home of natural causes on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Born on October 29, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was a son of the late Donald and Hazel (Taulbee) Jetmore, Sr. He completed Marshall School and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1975.

After graduation, he lived in Fort Wayne and then 15 years in Warsaw before returning to Columbia City in 2012. An automobile accident in 1990 had left him partially disabled.

An expert gamer, his favorite pastime was World of Warcraft. Staying current with national events, he enjoyed a spirited debate on politics. Interested in history, he became the family historian researching their genealogy. At home, he liked to garden growing both flowers and vegetables, and maintain his property expertly performing repairs.

He is survived by a brother, Donald P. (Sheila) Jetmore, Jr. of Casa Grande, AZ; a half-sister, Donna Jetmore of Glendale, AZ; nieces, Cecelia (Gabriel Rosenberg) Beyer of Springfield, NJ, Stacie (Jeff) Farber of Columbia City and a nephew Cole M. (Kayley) Jetmore of both Columbia City.

He was preceded in death by a sister Paula Byer and a nephew Andrew Jetmore.

There will be no service. A private family interment at the South Park Annex Cemetery will take place at a later date.
