Todd Scott Reed, 60, of Churubusco, died peacefully at his home at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Born on September 17, 1962, in Huntington, Indiana, a son of the late Edgar E. and Betty K. (Owens) Reed.  Growing up in Huntington, he graduated from Huntington High School in 1980.  He continued his education at Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne.

Enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1981, he served four years of active duty receiving his honorable discharge in 1986.

Returning to the area, he became a maintenance mechanic with various manufacturing facilities in the area.

On September 26, 2014, he married his long-time girlfriend, Tracy Marie Stephens.  The couple have always made their home in Churubusco.

He enjoyed doing woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Tracy; son, Jeffery (Sherri) Stephens; a brother, Robert Reed of Huntington; a sister Rhonda Reed of Huntington; and a grandson, Rehin Stephens.

A private family interment will be held at the Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home Columbia City.
