Vina 'Melissa' Blocher , 54, formerly of Columbia City, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from Tampa General Hospital in Crystal River, Florida.

Born on February 2, 1971, in Warsaw, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Bobby and Juanita (Bailey) Webb.  Moving to the Warsaw area, she attended Warsaw High School.

On September 28, 1991, Melissa was united in marriage to Eric J. Blocher. From 1993 to 2010, the couple lived in Churubusco.  In 2010, they moved to Columbia City and in 2021 to Crystal River, FL.

She was a full-time homemaker and servant to the Lord.  Fond of children, she delighted in their company.  She enjoyed growing flowers around her home, especially orchids at her Florida home.  She liked to sit on their porch, watching the birds and the variety of marine mammals in the channel near their Florida home, and studying her Bible.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Eric; a son, Kensley "Kenny" Scott of Wabash; brothers, Kevin (Latisha) Webb of Ohio, Adam (Kristy) Webb of Pikesville, Kentucky; sisters, Bobbie Jean Tevis of Connersville, Indiana, and Kimberly (Joel) DelGado of Houston, Texas, and her beloved Pyrenees dog, Honey Blossom.

Additionally, she was preceded in death by two unborn children, Gabriella Belle "Gracie" Blocher and Isabella Grace Ann "Ella Belle" Blocher; a brother, Darvin Webb; and a sister, Rhonda Webb.

A funeral service will be held at Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Columbia City at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, with burial to follow at Stough Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the funeral home.

Memorials in Melissa's honor are to Tri-Lakes Baptist Church.
